Building AI for a government service? Show it is right before it goes live.
AI companies and system integrators are building assistants and agents for ministries, departments, public-sector undertakings and state governments — answering taxpayers, employers and citizens. When that AI is wrong, it is wrong in public, at scale, and on the government's behalf.
Why evidence matters now
Public audit is turning to AI: the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has adopted an AI strategy framework that includes auditing AI systems deployed by government departments (Business Standard).
A vendor that can show structured evidence of how its system answers questions on Indian rules — case by case, with the law behind every failure — is better placed at acceptance, and again at audit.
What we can test
| Domain | Typical government-service use | Status |
|---|---|---|
| GST and indirect tax | Taxpayer help and GST answers | Live |
| Payroll, PF and ESI under the labour codes | Employer and employee questions | Active — on request |
| Company law | Company filings and compliance events | Active — on request |
| Customs | Classification, duty and trade questions | Next |
| Public procurement · scheme eligibility · audit | Tender, citizen-scheme and audit questions | Roadmap |
We only test where a domain is live or active. Every domain's status.
How we work with vendors
- Before go-live: a capability assessment on the topics your system answers. Capability assessment.
- At acceptance: an evidence pack your team can share with the department — a versioned testing record (system, benchmark version, run date, result, basis) and a report written so an auditor or government buyer can read it without us, described accurately as testing against certified answers. Evidence.
- After launch: re-tests every quarter and after releases you notify us of. Continuous evaluation.
- When the rules change: the Regulatory Regression Service re-runs the affected cases on your system and sends an impact note naming what broke and the new rule behind it. Regulatory Regression Service.
- Fixing gaps: licensed packs and training data aimed at what failed. Improvement data.
What stays the same
Synthetic cases only, test environments only, certified answers kept private, and every failure explained with the law. We never test products made by Zynoviq's Enterprise AI division, and our delivery teams are separate. How we stay separate.
Government AI vendors — FAQ
Do you sell to government departments directly?+
No. We work with the companies that build and run AI for government — AI vendors and system integrators — as their testing partner. The department remains your client.
Is your report a government approval of our AI?+
No. It is evidence of how your system performs on certified cases, with a versioned testing record. It is not a certification, approval or assurance, and should never be described as one. What we do not do.
Can you test in our language?+
Our live domains are tested in English today. Indian-language versions certified by bilingual professionals are planned from 2027, starting with Hindi.
Do you need access to government data or systems?+
No. Every case is synthetic, and tests run only in your test or staging environment. How tests run.
