Cookie Policy

Small text files that make websites work

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide information to website owners, and improve the user experience. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties whose services the website uses ("third-party cookies").

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage to store small amounts of data in your browser. This policy covers all such technologies collectively referred to as "cookies."

Essential, analytics, and preference cookies

Essential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of our website and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are set in response to actions you take that amount to a request for services, such as logging in, filling in forms, or setting your privacy preferences. Without these cookies, parts of the website cannot function properly.

• Session management and authentication tokens to keep you signed in
• CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) protection tokens to prevent malicious requests
• Cookie consent preferences to remember your choices about optional cookies
• Load balancing identifiers to ensure consistent service delivery

Analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting anonymous usage data. The information collected is aggregated and does not personally identify individual visitors. We use these insights to improve our website content, navigation, and user experience. You may opt out of analytics cookies at any time through our cookie consent tool or your browser settings.

• Google Analytics with anonymized IP addresses (IP anonymization enabled by default)
• Page view counts, navigation paths, and session duration metrics
• Referral source tracking (how you arrived at our website)
• Browser and device type information for compatibility improvements

Preference cookies

These cookies remember your settings and preferences to provide a more personalized experience on subsequent visits. They do not track your activity across other websites. You may opt out of preference cookies; however, doing so may result in a less tailored experience.

• Language and locale preferences
• Light or dark theme selection
• Dismissed announcement banners and notification preferences

Advertising and tracking cookies

We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. Zynoviq does not engage in cross-site tracking, retargeting, or programmatic advertising. We do not sell or share your browsing data with advertising networks.

Only Google Analytics, under a strict DPA

The only third-party cookies used on our website are set by Google Analytics. We have executed a Data Processing Agreement with Google that restricts the use of analytics data and ensures compliance with GDPR and DPDPA 2023. Google Analytics IP anonymization is enabled, meaning your full IP address is never stored by Google. We do not enable any Google advertising features or data sharing with Google advertising products.

Your options

You have several options for managing cookies on our website:

• Cookie Consent Tool: on your first visit, we display a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline optional cookies (analytics and preference cookies). Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the website to function
• Browser Settings: most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these options under "Privacy" or "Security" in your browser's preferences. Note that blocking all cookies may affect website functionality
• Google Analytics Opt-Out: you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits
• Contact Us: you may also contact us at privacy@zynoviq.com to request information about the cookies set on your device or to update your preferences

How we communicate updates

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use, our practices, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes to the types of cookies we use or how we use them, we will re-display the cookie consent banner so you can update your preferences. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
