How we stay separate from Zynoviq's Enterprise AI division.
Zynoviq Solutions Private Limited also runs an Enterprise AI division that builds AI products. Here is exactly what keeps our testing separate, and what is still to come.
Why we say this first
A company that builds AI and also measures AI has an obvious question to answer. We would rather answer it on this page than have you find it in a footnote. The commitments below are the ones we can state as fact today. Anything we have not yet done is labelled Planned and is not claimed.
Stage A: what is true today
| Commitment | What it means |
|---|---|
| Separate delivery teams | No person works on both this business and the Enterprise AI division |
| We never test, grade or produce data for the division's products | For any customer, under any contract |
| Our reports never recommend the division's products | Findings name failures and the rule behind them; they do not recommend a vendor |
| Written disclosure | If your system includes one of the division's products, we tell you in writing before we test |
| Dual role disclosed in every report | Each report states that Zynoviq also builds AI products, and what keeps the two apart |
Stages B and C: what is planned
| Stage | What it adds | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Stage B | A separate subsidiary with its own contracts, customer data and accounts | Planned |
| Stage C | An independent advisory board and an appointed conflicts officer | Planned |
"Planned" means we intend to do it. It is not a claim that it exists. We will update this page, and the conflict-of-interest policy, when each stage is in place.
What this does not change
- Ground truth is set by qualified professionals independently of the vendor of the AI being tested. That is the only sense in which we use the word "independent".
- Our reports are findings and evidence, not a certification, audit, approval or assurance of your AI.
- Results on a customer's system are never published. Public research covers public models only.
Separation: questions people ask
Is this business a separate legal entity today?+
No. It is a business within Zynoviq Solutions Private Limited, with separate delivery teams. A separate subsidiary is planned (stage B) and will be stated here only once it exists.
What happens if our AI uses a Zynoviq Enterprise AI component?+
We tell you in writing before any test, and you decide whether to proceed. We will not test, grade or produce data for the component itself.
Can your reports be used as independent assurance of our AI?+
No. Our ground truth is set independently of the vendor of the AI being tested, and our benchmarks are independently reviewed, but our reports are findings, not an independent evaluation, audit or assurance. What we do not do.
Where are these commitments written down?+
In our conflict-of-interest policy (draft), and in the independence statement that appears in every report. Evidence.
