The India GST test for SAP finance agents.

Our flagship test pack: realistic, synthetic GST cases written the way an SAP finance agent actually sees them — supplier invoices, vendor master details, purchase orders and goods receipts — each with a certified answer for the tax treatment and the expected posting.

Size: 500 cases per standard run, drawn from a larger pool; valid as of October–December 2026; difficulty mix easy, medium, hard and ambiguous.

One case, as the agent sees it (synthetic)

InputValue
Company codeIndian manufacturing entity, Tamil Nadu
VendorRegistered caterer, Tamil Nadu
DocumentSupplier invoice for canteen catering, ₹2,00,000 + ₹10,000 GST
ContextFactory with 400 workers; canteen required under the OSH Code, 2020
Purchase orderService PO, cost centre: factory administration

What the agent must return: credit eligible (yes / no), eligible amount, reverse charge (yes / no), tax code, account, legal basis.

Certified answer: credit eligible — ₹10,000; no reverse charge; post to the input credit account with the input tax code mapped for your system; basis: CGST Act section 17(5)(b) proviso and CBIC Circular 172/04/2022-GST.

How marking works

Every answer is marked field by field: exact match for yes/no and codes, a ₹1 tolerance for amounts, and the key section required for the legal basis. A case counts as correct only if every critical field is right. Your tax codes and accounts are mapped to ours at the start, so marking is fair to your configuration.

What you receive

The report card, failure patterns, every failed case explained in SAP terms (what the agent posted versus what it should have posted), and an executive summary. See a sample report card.

How often to run it

Once as a baseline; then every quarter, after each major agent or SAP update, and after significant GST changes. Continuous evaluation.

Next packs

TDS on vendor payments, and GST on sales-side agents, are planned for the second half of 2027.

GST test pack for SAP finance agents — FAQ

What is in the GST test pack for SAP finance agents?+

Realistic synthetic cases written as an SAP finance agent sees them — supplier invoices, vendor master details, purchase orders — each with a certified answer for the tax treatment and the expected posting.

How is the SAP posting marked?+

Field by field: exact match for yes/no answers and codes, a ₹1 tolerance for amounts, and the key section for the legal basis. A case counts as correct only if every critical field is right.

What if our tax codes differ from yours?+

That's normal. We map your tax codes and accounts to our standard list once at the start, so marking reflects your configuration.

How many cases are in a standard run?+

500 cases, drawn from a larger private pool and refreshed every quarter.

Do the cases use real vendors or GSTINs?+

No. Every vendor, GSTIN and amount is synthetic — correctly formatted, but never a real registration.

When will TDS and sales-side packs be available?+

They are planned for the second half of 2027. TDS and income tax.
